Gate does not physically open when code is entered.

First, type in a good known code and if your keypad is making a long 3 second buzz confirming a good code was typed in but the gate does not open, this is most likely due to a relay failure on your gate motor itself. You can always try to re-power your gate motor to see it that resets your motor. If that doesn't work, you can remove the relay wires from the keypad to test the OPEN and CLOSE function manually. This will take the keypad completely out of the scenario so we can confirm its not the keypad causing the issue. Follow the steps below to perform this.

1. Open the door to the keypad
2. Depending on which model keypad you have (cellular or internet,) you will want to remove the relay wires from the keypad entirely.
3. Touch these two wires together! When you touch these two wires together, this makes continuity and your gate should open. If the wires are pulled apart, the gate should close.
4. Again this will determine if your gate motor relay is working properly.
