The CONNECTED and DISCONNECTED status button can have a delay up to 20-30 minutes, in regards to displaying the real status. It is not in real time. If you see disconnected, you will want to first attempt to open the gate from the desktop dashboard or the managers app. Then check to see if the gate physically opened. If you are not at the location, you can still attempt this remotely and if the activity log populates, showing you just opened the gate remotely, then the gate is working properly. For some reason, your connection may have flickered off and back on, in the past 30 minutes. If you see the status doing this a good bit, you may want to check your connection and network at your location as this should not be occurring regularly.
